I am appointed as a teaching assistant to different courses at the Department of Economics, UCSC. Though UCSC doesnt provide TA ratings, I believe that the students and lecturers I have worked with consider me well.

TA-ing for a final year course was completely different from an introductory course, as most students had a strong background and were seeking advanced knowledge. It was a challenging experience but really helped me remould my teaching approach.
Econ 1-01 (Introduction to Microeconomics), Fall 2025
TA-ing for the first time ever in my life, standing on the other side of the classroom was one of the biggest mindset shifts Ive had in years. And TA-ing for a 180 students introductory class filled with 18 y/o first years didnt make it easier. This experience humbled me and taught me how to think like someone imparting knowledge, not someone only absorbing knowledge.
